Alvin Lee Clark
ALVIN LEE CLARK, 89, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Louisville.
Al attended DuPont Manual and Ahrens Trade School. He was in the Civil Air Patrol; had retired after 40 years from E. I. Dupont in Louisville; was a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church; an avid traveler who enjoyed touring the United States in his RV with his wife Carol at his side. Al was a very proud veteran of the United States Navy.
He and his wife Carol enjoyed reunions and helping at The Neighborhood House in Portland. Al never met a stranger and always had a Sea Story to tell. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Evangeline; daughter Elaine Whatley; and sister Dorothy Duncan.
Remaining to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Carol; his son, Gregory (Harriet); daughter, Sandra Anagnostou (George); grandchildren, Alexis Clark, Elyse Allemang (Jason), Gina Bedford (Kyle); step-sons, John, Earl and Ken Weikel; nephew Jack Duncan; great grandchildren, James, Jayden and Eva; and a son-in-law, Peter Whatley.
His funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Michael Orthodox Church, 3701 St. Michael Drive, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 5 - 8 PM.
